Key Responsibilities: 

1. Proposal Development: 

  1. Write, edit, and format proposals, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and proper structure. 
  2. Tailor proposals to meet the specific requirements and evaluation criteria outlined in Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs). 
  3. Ensure all components of proposals—executive summaries, technical approaches, budgets, and appendices—are complete and well-organized. 
  4. Ensure compliance with submission requirements, formatting guidelines, and proposal evaluation criteria. 
  5. Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate project budgets and pricing strategies that align with proposal objectives, ensuring competitiveness and profitability. 



2. Branding Support: 

  1. Maintain a repository of proposal content, templates, boilerplate text, and reusable assets to streamline future proposal development efforts. 
  2. Engage with clients or prospective clients to clarify proposal requirements and address inquiries during the proposal process. 


3. Post-Submission Activities/Follow-Up: 

  1. Participate in debriefings after proposal submissions to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. 
  2. Continuously update and refine proposal templates and processes based on lessons learned. 
  3. Maintain records of proposal submissions, outcomes, and win/loss analyses. 
  4. Generate reports to assess the firm's proposal success rates and identify opportunities for improvement. 

 

Qualifications and Key Attributes: 

  1. Bachelor's degree in business management or administration, finance, accounting, marketing, or a related field is essential. A master’s degree in any of the above fields is desirable. 
  2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive working experience in a similar field
  3. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). 
  4. Able to utilize advanced search tools and databases 
  5. Fluent in English; written and spoken 
  6. Knowledgeable on macro trends in the international development space 
  7. Able to manage multiple priorities effectively 
  8. Able to work independently and/or as a part of a large team 
  9. Focused and have a demonstrated ability to successfully execute business strategies 
  10. Results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment  
  11. Team player with strong interpersonal skills. 
  12. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving. 
  13. Adaptable and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
